The axiomatic statement: time is money; has never been truer than in today’s fast-paced changing business environment. Purchase Requisitions are document generated by a user department to notify the purchasing department of items it needs to order, their quantity, and the time frame. Customers usually require Purchase Requisition Release strategy assigned for cost center and the Purchase Requisition should be characterized on Doc Type, Value, Plant and Cost Center, but most SAP consulting companies fail to provide this service in their SAP Support.
Purchase Requisition Release Strategy under SAP MM (Material Management) is usually based on a combination of Doc Type and Cost Center. But Doc Type is at header level and Cost center is at Item level, and these are not per standard or it’s the standard available from majority of SAP consulting companies in their SAP Support.
