Creation of WD Java IView in portal 7.3

1. Creation of Iview and Page:

In portal 7.3 no need to create the iview and page separately we can create the both of them in the single step. In the previous versions of the portal we need to create iview separately page separately.
First we have to create the Page inside the Content Admin using the following steps:
Go to root Folder –>Portal Content–> Right click on portal content–>click on new –>page–>enter the desired name and id and click on finish.

For inserting the iview into the page go to–>Content Administration in portal–>Webdynpro Java Applications–>copy desired webdynpro component
Finally come to the created page right click and paste as PCD object.Now we can see the page.

2. Creating Workset:

For creating the new workset Go to root Folder –>Portal Content–> Right click on portal content–>click on new –>Workset–>enter the desired name and id and click on finish.

3. Creating Role:

For creating the new workset Go to root Folder –>Portal Content–> Right click on portal content–>click on new –>Workset–>enter the desired name and id and click on finish.
There are four types of Roles in portal 7.3
1. Free style : for creating normal roles
2. Work center Role
3. Role from Back end and
4. Role from Package.
